What Is A Herbal Vaporizer?

The term vaporizer probably conjures up images of science fiction movies and people and objects being disintegrated. Many don't even realize that vaporizers have actually been around for quite a while now. Though the technology isn't ancient, it's not futuristic, either. Although people generally aren't involved in the process, the job of a vaporizer is simple – to turn something into vapor. There are many different uses for this process as it's very good at getting the substance into the human body in a safe, effective, comfortable manner. Herbal vaporizers turn various herbs into vapors that can be breathed by humans, much in the way we've smoked tobacco and other herbs for centuries. The result is similar to burning or smoking an herb, but without the smoke itself, which tends to carry unwanted by-products and odors that are not only unpleasant, but can be downright dangerous.

The by-products of smoking an herb include everything from tar to carcinogens, not to mention the fact that you're basically breathing fire, which is harmful to the lungs and throat under any circumstances, regardless of the actual substance you are inhaling. In building fires, many people come away with their worst injuries being due to smoke inhalation. Smoking subjects your body to the same conditions.

An herb vaporizer, on the other hand, has no such dangers. The mist that an herbal vaporizer will create is cool, which is much better on the throat and lungs, and will also yield a much more effective result. Herb vaporizers create a vapor that is nearly invisible and has no scent, but the flavors and tastes are still present, usually in a much stronger form.

Did you know that burning tobacco can destroy up to half of its active ingredients? Not only does it create harmful substances that can cause cancer, among other ailments, but it also robs the tobacco of much of its beneficial attributes. It's a lose/lose situation. The smoking also blocks many of the flavors that you probably didn't even know were there.

The odors that are produced by an herbal vaporizer are negligible in comparison to smoking. There is no smoke at all, nothing to stick to the clothing and hair, and any non-smoking visitors you may have will not be subject to any of the adverse affects that plague the more traditional method of burning tobacco an other herbs. In fact, it takes only a few minutes after the vaporizer is started until there is no detectable odor at all.

Burning homeopathic herbs is one of the oldest traditions of mankind. Many, many generations have enjoyed ingesting herbs in this fashion because it was convenient and, for much of history, considered safe. Now that we know otherwise, it's time to move on to newer and safer things. Not to mention bigger and better tastes, and more powerful effects. Even convenience is no longer an issue – just pick up a portable vaporizer. The cost isn't much compared to only a few months worth of cigarettes, even after you consider buying the tobacco itself, which you'll be able to pick the best of.
